"UPFELT"

About it :

It is used in almost all the electrical insulation industries as interlayer spacer and filling material. It has very high resin absorption property. Felt is made by Aramide or Polyester Fiber by needle punched process & treated with Binder / Accelerator as per Application and requirements of the user.

Material Used for Best Performance:

  • High quality Aramide Fiber.
  • High Performance Polyester Fiber.
  • European Needle Punching Loam for excellent Quality.
  • Binder / Accelerator if required by the user.

Characteristics:

  • Available in Aramide and Polyester Fiber as per Application / Requirement.
  • Thickness from 1 MM to 6 MM with different weight and compressibility can be manufactured as per user requirement.
  • Standard roll width is 1000 M and Felt tape of different width can also be provided .

Application :

"UPFELT" is very soft and flexible material which is used as filling material between inter spaces of the coils. It absorbs resin more than 400% at the time of VPI and provides vibration free and gapless insulation.
